Ce projet partenarial est présenté au titre de l’appel à projets recherche collaboratif du PO FEDER&FSE 2014-2020, tranche 1. L’objectif du projet Cavalbio est de contribuer au développement d’une agriculture durable en Guadeloupe, et plus largement dans les Antilles Françaises en appuyant par des recherches cognitives et méthodologiques l’émergence de solutions variétales aux principales contraintes des filières ignames et agrumes. Pour les ignames l’adaptation à des systèmes de production «bas intrants », la résistance à l’anthracnose, la qualité et la productivité seront les cibles majeures. Pour les agrumes l’adaptation aux contraintes biotiques et abiotiques et en particulier au greening sera un objectif central tout en cherchant à améliorer la qualité des produits et l’étalement des productions. Le projet fédère les compétences scientifiques du CIRAD, de l’INRA et de l’Université des Antilles dans le domaine de la génétique, de la génomique, de la physiologie et de l’écophysiologie de la technologie des aliments, de la pathologie, de l’imagerie et de la socio-économie de l’innovation. Il se situe en amont direct des plateformes de sélection de nouvelles variétés soutenues par le PDRG permettant un transfert rapide des innovations variétales aux agriculteurs via les RITA. Il est conduit en lien étroit avec les acteurs du développement, professionnels des filières traitées. (French)

This partnership project is presented under the ERDF OP’s call for collaborative research projects 2014-2020, tranche 1. The objective of the Cavalbio project is to contribute to the development of sustainable agriculture in Guadeloupe, and more broadly in the French Antilles by supporting through cognitive and methodological research the emergence of varietal solutions to the main constraints of the yam and citrus sectors. For yams adaptation to low input production systems, resistance to anthracnose, quality and productivity will be the main targets. For citrus fruits adaptation to biotic and abiotic constraints and in particular to greening will be a central objective while seeking to improve the quality of products and the spread of production. The project brings together the scientific expertise of CIRAD, INRA and the University of the West Indies in the field of genetics, genomics, physiology and ecophysiology of food technology, pathology, imaging and the socio-economics of innovation. It is directly upstream of the platforms for the selection of new varieties supported by the PDRG, allowing the rapid transfer of varietal innovations to farmers via the RITAs. It is conducted in close connection with development actors, professionals in the sectors covered. (English)

Dieses Partnerschaftsprojekt wird im Rahmen der Aufforderung zur Einreichung von Projekten zur Zusammenarbeit im Rahmen des EFRE-OP &ESF 2014-2020, Teil 1 vorgelegt. Ziel des Cavalbio-Projekts ist es, zur Entwicklung einer nachhaltigen Landwirtschaft in Guadeloupe und weiter in den französischen Antillen beizutragen, indem kognitive und methodische Forschung die Entstehung von Sortenlösungen für die wichtigsten Zwänge der Wurzel- und Zitrusketten unterstützt. Für die Yamswurzeln Anpassung an „niedrige Input-Produktionssysteme“, die Resistenz gegen Anthracnose, Qualität und Produktivität werden die wichtigsten Ziele sein. Für Zitrusfrüchte ist die Anpassung an biotische und abiotische Zwänge und insbesondere an das Greening ein zentrales Ziel bei gleichzeitiger Verbesserung der Produktqualität und der Verteilung der Produktion. Das Projekt bündelt die wissenschaftlichen Kompetenzen von CIRAD, INRA und der Universität der Antillen in den Bereichen Genetik, Genomik, Physiologie und Ökophysiologie der Lebensmitteltechnologie, Pathologie, Bildgebung und Sozioökonomie der Innovation. Es befindet sich direkt vor den Plattformen für die Züchtung neuer Sorten, die durch das EPLR unterstützt werden, um eine rasche Übertragung von Sorteninnovationen an die Landwirte über die RITA zu ermöglichen. Es wird in enger Verbindung mit den Akteuren der Entwicklung geleitet, die in den behandelten Bereichen tätig sind. (German)
