Projektet ska ses som en fortsättning på de satsningar som har gjorts i tidigare för bredbandsutbyggnad i Västerbottens län. Projektet är en direkt fortsättning av pågående samverkansprojektet för utbyggande av ortsasammanbindande nät i Västerbotten; BREDBAND TILL FLER som är delfinansierade av Europeiska Regionala Utvecklingsfonden och ägs av AC-Net Extern Service AB.. Avsikten med projektet; BREDBAND TILL FLER etapp 2, är att bygga ortsammanbindande nät (OSN) i glest befolkade delar av Västerbottens län där marknadsmässiga förutsättningar för utbyggnad av bredbandsinfrastruktur saknas. Projektets övergripande mål är att genom fortsatt bredbandsutbyggnad bidra till Västerbottens mål om att 95 % av länets företag och hushåll ska ha en bredbandsuppkoppling om minst 100 Mbit/s år 2020. Projektmålet är att öka antalet möjliga bredbandsanslutningar för företag och hushåll i Västerbottens län. Efter projekttidens slut äger och ansvarar varje enskild kommun för sina respektive investeringar i bredbandsnätet. Dessutom kommer fler företag och hushåll i glesbygdsområden i Västerbotten ges möjlighet att ansluta sig till ett snabbare bredbandsnät som i förlängningen är nödvändigt för en hållbar regional tillväxt. The project should be seen as a continuation of the investments that have been made in the past for broadband expansion in Västerbotten County. The project is a direct continuation of the ongoing collaboration project for the expansion of local networks in Västerbotten; Broadband TO FLER, which is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund and is owned by AC-Net External Service AB. The purpose of the project; Broadband TO FLER stage 2, is to build local networks (OSN) in sparsely populated parts of Västerbotten County where market conditions for the expansion of broadband infrastructure are lacking. The overall goal of the project is to contribute to Västerbotten’s goal that 95 % of the county’s companies and households should have a broadband connection of at least 100 Mbit/s by 2020. The project goal is to increase the number of possible broadband connections for companies and households in Västerbotten County. After the end of the project period, each municipality owns and is responsible for its respective investments in the broadband network. In addition, more companies and households in rural areas in Västerbotten will be given the opportunity to connect to a faster broadband network that is ultimately necessary for sustainable regional growth. Le projet doit être considéré comme une continuation des initiatives précédentes de déploiement du haut débit dans le comté de Västerbotten. Le projet s’inscrit dans le prolongement direct du projet de collaboration en cours pour le développement de réseaux d’interconnexion locaux à Västerbotten; Haut débit TO FLER, qui est cofinancé par le Fonds européen de développement régional et est détenu par AC-Net External Service AB. L’intention du projet; La phase 2 à large bande consiste à construire des réseaux d’interconnexion locaux (OSN) dans des parties peu peuplées du comté de Västerbotten où il n’existe pas de conditions de marché pour le déploiement d’infrastructures à haut débit. L’objectif global du projet est de contribuer à l’objectif de Västerbotten, à savoir 95 % des entreprises et des ménages du comté ayant une connexion haut débit d’au moins 100 Mbps d’ici 2020. L’objectif du projet est d’augmenter le nombre de connexions à haut débit possibles pour les entreprises et les ménages dans le comté de Västerbotten. Après la fin du projet, chaque municipalité possède et est responsable de ses investissements respectifs dans le réseau à haut débit. En outre, un plus grand nombre d’entreprises et de ménages dans les zones à faible densité de population de Västerbotten auront la possibilité de se connecter à un réseau à large bande plus rapide, ce qui est en fin de compte nécessaire à une croissance régionale durable.
