Mesto Nitra má v pláne vybudovať sieť cyklotrás s následnou prepojiteľnosťou. Cieľom vybudovania úsekov nových cyklistických komunikácií je vytvorenie novej siete cyklistických komunikácií v meste Nitra, ich prepojenia na existujúce cyklotrasy a zlepšenie dostupnosti k občianskej infraštruktúre aj nemotorovou dopravou (predovšetkým cyklistickou dopravou). „Cyklotrasa Mlynárce – Diely – Klokočina“ je v súlade s koncepčným materiálom „Koncepcia cyklistickej dopravy v meste Nitra“. Po kompletnom dobudovaní novej siete cyklotrás vrátane úseku „Cyklotrasa Mlynárce – Diely – Klokočina“ bude splnená podmienka výzvy na prepojenie priemyselných zón, občianskej infraštruktúry a infraštruktúry verejnej osobnej dopravy. Cyklistická komuniácia bude mať dopravný charakter, pretože nadväzuje na Cyklotrasu Vodná – Zelokvet v Nitre, končiacu na otočke autobusov v spodnej časti Dubíkovej ulice a vo svojej dĺžke 3,517 km túto vetvu prepája s plánovanou cyklotrasou vedúcou cez lesopark Borina na rozhraní Klokočiny a Čermáňa s názvom“ Cyklotrasa – Klokočina-Borina-Hollého ul. - AS“. The city of Nitra plans to build a network of cycle paths with subsequent connectivity. The aim of building sections of new cycling roads is the creation of a new network of cycling roads in Nitra, their connection to existing cycling routes and the improvement of accessibility to civil infrastructure also by non-motorised transport (in particular cycling). “The cycle path Mlynárce – Parts – Klokočina” is in line with the conceptual material “The conception of cycling traffic in Nitra”. After the complete completion of the new network of cycle routes, including the section “Cyklo route Mlynárce – Diely – Klokočina”, the condition of the call to connect industrial zones, civil infrastructure and public passenger transport infrastructure will be met. Cycling communication will have a transport character because it follows the cycle path Vodná – Zelokvet in Nitra, ending on the bus turn in the lower part of Dubíková street and in its length 3,517 km this branch connects with the planned cycle path leading through the forest park pine at the boundary of Klokočina and Čermáňa called "Cyclotrasa – Klokočina-borina-Hollý ul. — AS’.
