Splošna knjižnica Ljutomer deluje in ravna po standardih, ki veljajo za splošne knjižnice. V okviru dejavnosti si posebej prizadevamo, da bi knjižnice presegle podobo servisa za izposojo knjižnega in neknjižnega gradiva in bi vedno bolj postajale celostni centri kulturnega srečevanja lokalnih skupnosti. Zaradi boljših rezultatov, ki jih prinaša sodelovanje, se povezujemo z drugimi ustanovami ter sodelujemo pri vključevanju v lokalne, nacionalne in mednarodne projekte. Glede na to še vedno teče projekt: BRALNO POTOVALNA MALHA: ranljivi pomagajo ranljivim, ki ga želimo nadgraditi z novim projektom: PODAJAMO SI ROKE IN RASTEMO. Oba projekta bi radi v naši lokalni skupnosti ohranili in ju aktivno izvajali tudi v prihodnje, saj je potreba po tovrstni storitvah velika. (Slovenian)

The Ljutomer General Library operates and adheres to the standards applicable to general libraries. Within the framework of our activities, we are particularly keen to ensure that libraries go beyond the image of the service for the loan of literary and non-book material and increasingly become integrated centres of cultural gathering of local communities. For better results, we connect with other institutions and participate in local, national and international projects. Against this background, the project is still ongoing: READ TRAVEL MALHA: vulnerable people help the vulnerable, which we want to upgrade with a new project: WE PASS OUR HANDS AND GROW. Both projects would like to be maintained and actively implemented in our local community, as the need for such services is high. (English)
