(French)

The ViaRhôna route is currently on a temporary basis on departmental roads in the communes of Virignin in the department of Ain and La Balme in the department of Savoie. This route is not most secure for cyclists due to the importance of road traffic and the physical constraints of the site with three tunnels and a bridge to cross. The operation led by the Savoie department consists of making a bridge crossing the Rhône between the communes of Virignin and La Balme and creating three hundred meters of cycle path. Thus these achievements will give substance to the ViaRhôna route on this territory. (English)
