Kunnossapidon osaamiskeskus-hankkeen tavoitteena on uuden liiketoiminnan kehittäminen, uusien teknologioiden hyödyntäminen sekä tutkimuksen, koulutuksen ja yritys- yhteistyön ja osaamisen kehittäminen. Hankkeessa luodaan perusta asiakastarpeiden pohjalta toimivalle osaamiskeskukselle, rakennetaan ja luodaan teollisen kunnossapitokeskittymän malli, testataan ja pilotoidaan se sekä varmistetaan sen toimivuus ja kannattavuus. Hanke huomioi Teollisen Internetin (IoT) tuomat vaatimukset ja mahdollisuudet hyödyntää uusia teknologioita ja hallita suuria tietomääriä, BigDataa, palveluja kehitettäessä. Hanke yhdistää tutkimus-, koulutus- sekä yritysten tarpeet ja vahvistaa alan kunnossapitoliiketoiminnassa olevien verkostojen yhteistyötä. (Finnish)

The Maintenance Competence Centre project aims to develop new business, utilise new technologies and develop research, training and business cooperation and competence. The project will lay the foundations for a centre of expertise based on customer needs, build and create a model of industrial maintenance hub, test and pilot it, and ensure its functionality and profitability. The project takes into account the requirements of the Industrial Internet (IoT) and the opportunities to exploit new technologies and manage large amounts of data, BigData, in the development of services. The project combines the needs of research, training and companies and strengthens cooperation between networks in the maintenance business. (English)
