L’opération consiste à réhabiliter 320 places sur deux niveaux du parking en silo existant à la gare routière d’Avignon centre afin déplacer le stationnement actuellement situé sur le parvis de la gare ferroviaire, et le libérer de l’emprise des véhicules au profit des modes de déplacements doux. L’opération constitue le préalable nécessaire à l’aménagement plus vaste du pôle d’échanges multimodal de la gare d’Avignon centre en connectant les bus urbains, les cars interurbains, les trains (TER et TGV), et le tramway (ligne 1). The operation consists of rehabilitating 320 seats on two levels of the existing silo car park at Avignon centre bus station in order to move the parking lot currently located on the train station’s forecourt, and free it from the right-of-way of the vehicles in favour of gentle modes of travel. The operation is the necessary prerequisite for the wider development of the multimodal exchange hub of Avignon centre station by connecting urban buses, intercity buses, trains (TER and TGV) and tram (line 1).
