LaTVa-hankkeessa kehitetään monitoimijaisesti varhaiskasvatuksen laajenevia toimintaympäristöjä ja teknologioiden käyttöä siten, että lasten tarvitsema tuki olisi systemaattista ja tutkittuun tietoon perustuvaa. Hankkeen keskeisenä toimenpiteenä on kehittää ja pilotoida yritysten sekä varhaiskasvatuksen ja sote-toimijoiden kanssa monitoimijaisesti tutkimusperustaista sekä teknologioita hyödyntävää laajenevaa toimintaympäristöä. Tämän lisäksi hankkeessa pilotoidaan tukipalvelukioskia sekä tukiteknologiasalkkua osana toimintaympäristöä. Hanke järjestää myös pilottipaikkakunnalla teematyöpajoja, kolme Pohjois-Karjalan alueella järjestettävää alueellista työpajaa sekä alku- ja loppuseminaarin. Hanke jakaa myös laajasti tietoa tuloksista alueellisesti, kansallisesti ja kansainvälisesti. Hankkeen tuloksena syntyy kokonaisvaltaista tietoa lasten tuen tarpeista varhaiskasvatuksessa sekä olemassa olevista sekä puutteellisista ja puuttuvista mutta tarpeellisiksi arvioiduista varhaiskasvatuksen ja sote-alan palveluista erityisesti Pohjois-Karjalassa. Tämän lisäksi hankkeessa tuotetaan laajenevien toimintaympäristöjen malli, jossa kuvataan, miten yritykset sekä varhaiskasvatuksen ja Siun soten toimijat voivat toimia joustavasti perheiden kanssa lapsen tuen tarpeisiin vastaamiseksi. Näin hanke tuottaa yrityksille tietoa ja mahdollisuuksia palvelujen ja teknologioiden kehittämisestä tukea tarvitsevien lasten tarpeisiin sekä tilaisuuksia verkottua tiiviimmin varhaiskasvatuksen alalla toimivien tahojen kanssa. The Latva project develops multifunctional approaches to the expanding environments of early childhood education and care and the use of technologies in such a way that the support needed by children is systematic and based on research. The main measure of the project is to develop and pilot a multifunctional, research-based and technology-based environment with companies, early childhood education and care and health care actors. In addition, the project pilots a support service kiosk and a support technology portfolio as part of the operating environment. The project also organises thematic workshops at the pilot site, three regional workshops in the North Karelia region and an initial and final seminar. The project will also provide extensive information on the results at regional, national and international level. The project will result in comprehensive information on children’s needs in early childhood education and care, as well as on existing, incomplete and missing services in the field of early childhood education and care, especially in North Karelia. In addition to this, the project will produce a model of expanding operating environments that describes how businesses and actors in early childhood education and care and Siu Sote can work flexibly with families to meet the needs of the child’s support. In this way, the project will provide companies with information and opportunities to develop services and technologies for the needs of children in need, as well as opportunities for closer networking with those active in the field of early childhood education and care.
