Hankkeen tavoitteena on kehittää innovatiivisen kansainvälisesti patentoidun aaltopuuprofiilin (WLT - wave layered timber ja Aalto Wood) massiivipuuelementtiin perustuvia ekologisia ja kiertotalouteen vahvasti priorisoituja puuosia, elementtejä, siltarakenteita kansainvälisille markkinoille. Teknologia perustuu yksittäiseen aaltomaiseen muotoon ja mittatarkkaan profiiliin, niiden keskinäiseen sovitukseen ja kiinnittämiseen ilman liimaa tai muutakaan lisäainetta. Hankkeen tuloksena syntyy tuotantolaitos, joka vastaa mittavaan kysyntään puurakentamisen ekologisten ratkaisujen edelläkävijänä. (Finnish)

The aim of the project is to develop ecological and circular wood components, elements, bridge structures based on the solid wood element of the innovative internationally patented wave layered timber (WLT) and the circular economy. The technology is based on a single wave-like shape and dimensional profile, matching and fixing them without glue or any other additive. As a result of the project, a production plant will be created that responds to a large demand as a pioneer in ecological solutions for wood construction. (English)
