Elektroniikan 3K-tehdas suunnittelee Led-tekniikoihin perustuvat valaistusmenetelmät ja -järjestelmät, toteuttaa niiden valmistuksen sekä suorittaa järjestelmien testauksen ja näiden järjestelmien asennukset valittuihin pilot-kohteisiin. Lisäksi 3K-tehdas hyödyntää RFID-tekniikoiden tutkimushankkeissa hankittua osaamista menetelmien jatkokehittämisessä, esim. Metlan tarpeiden näkökulmista taimien kasvullisen lisäyksen älykkäiden seurantajärjestelmien kehittämisessä.Hankkeen toteutus tukee kahta Metlan strategisesti tärkeää hanketta,Metlan hanke 1. Kuusen kasvullisen lisäysteknologian kustannus- ja energiatehokkuuden kehittäminen.Metlan hanke 2. Männyn sydänpuun uuteaineiden tehokas mittaus ainespuun jalostamiseksi. (Finnish)

The 3K electronics factory designs lighting methods and systems based on Led technologies, implements their manufacture, and performs the testing of the systems and the installation of these systems on selected pilot sites. In addition, 3K-factory utilises the expertise acquired in RFID technology research projects to further develop methods, e.g. from the perspectives of Metla’s needs in the development of intelligent monitoring systems for vegetative growth of seedlings. The implementation of the project supports two Metla’s strategically important projects,Metla’s project 1. Development of cost and energy efficiency of spruce vegetative propagation technology.Metla project 2. Effective measurement of pine heartwood extracts to process the wood. (English)
