TavoitteetGreen Care nähdään uutena sosiaalisena palveluinnovaationa ja aktiivisena interventiona suomalaisessa palvelujärjestelmässä. Hankkeen päätavoitteena on sosiaalisen työllistämisen edistäminen luontoon tukeutuvia Green Care -menetelmiä ja resursseja hyödyntäen. Green Care on viherympäristöihin liittyvää toimintaa, jolla edistetään ihmisten hyvinvointia ja elämänlaatua. Green Care perustuu luonnon hyvinvointivaikutuksista tehtyihin tieteellisiin tutkimuksiin. Toisena keihäänkärkitavoitteena on Porin seudun Green Care Osaamiskeskuksen perustaminen. Päämääränä on myös kehittää ennaltaehkäiseviä ja työkykyä parantavia toimintamalleja, sosiaalisia tukiverkostoja ja sosiaalista osallisuutta sekä hyvinvointia tukevia palvelurakenteita. Hankkeessa toteutetaan myös pilottitoimintaa potentiaalisten toimijoiden kanssa, tehdään Green Care -toiminta tunnetuksi alueella ja seurataan alaan liittyvää tieteellistä tutkimusta.ToimenpiteetInnovatiivisin toimintatavoin edistetään etenkin yhteiskunnasta syrjään joutuneiden ja huono-osaisten sosiaalista osallisuutta ja työllistymistä sekä ylläpidetään heidän työ- ja toimintakykyään. Hankkeessa tehdään kansallista ja kansainvälistä yhteistyötä alan toimijoiden kesken. Tärkeänä osana hanketta ovat paikallisesti toteutettavat Green Care -pilottikokeilut, joilla edistetään toimintojen käyttöönottoa. Osana Green Care -verkostokonseptin käyttöönottoa toteutetaan säännöllisiä tapaamisia eri toimijaryhmien kanssa sekä edistetään monipuolista tiedotusviestintää. Konkreettisia toimenpiteitä ovat myös hankkeen kehittämistulosten käyttöönotto, niiden juurruttaminen kunta- ja järjestösektorilla, koulutukset, potentiaalisten ja mahdollistavien toimintaympäristöjen inventointi sekä niiden resurssiviisas kehittäminen. Porin seudun Green Care Osaamiskeskuksen perustaminen.TuloksetHankkeen jälkeen Green Care –menetelmiä on jo osittain, kansainvälisten esimerkkimallien mukaan, juurrutettu kunta- ja järjestösektorilla ja niitä tarjotaan asiakkaille ammattitaitoisesti ja vastuullisesti. Palvelujen koordinoimiseksi on perustettu Porin seudun Green Care Osaamiskeskus. Green Care -toiminta on tehty tunnetuksi ja luotu uusia kumppanuuksia ja toimintaverkostoja hyvine käytänteineen sekä saatu monet tahot kiinnostumaan Green Care -toimintatavoista. Pilottien tuloksia on saatu mallinnettua ja toteutuksessa on huomioitu erityisryhmien sisällä naisten ja miesten erilaiset lähtökohdat ja tarpeet. Hankkeen tuloksena kolmannen sektorin rooli syrjäytymisen ehkäisyssä on alueella vahvistunut. Kuntoutustoimenpiteinä käytetään mm. tieteellisesti tutkittuja luonnon hyvinvointivaikutuksiin pohjautuvia palveluita. (Finnish)

ObjectivesGreen Care is seen as a new social service innovation and active intervention in the Finnish service system. The main objective of the project is to promote social employment through nature-based Green Care methods and resources. Green Care is an activity related to green environments that promotes people’s well-being and quality of life. Green Care is based on scientific studies on the impact of nature on well-being. The second goal of the spearhead is to establish a Green Care Knowledge Centre in the Pori region. The aim is also to develop preventive and work-enhancing operating models, social support networks and service structures supporting social inclusion and well-being. The project also implements pilot activities with potential actors, promotes Green Care in the region and monitors related scientific research.Measures Innovative approaches promote social inclusion and employment, especially for those who are excluded from society and disadvantaged, and maintain their working and operational capacity. The project involves national and international co-operation between practitioners. An important part of the project is the implementation of Green Care pilot experiments at local level to promote the take-up of activities. As part of the implementation of the Green Care network concept, regular meetings with different operational groups will be carried out, as well as a wide range of communication activities. Concrete measures include the introduction of the project’s development results, their rooting in the municipal and organisational sectors, training, inventory of potential and enabling environments and their resource-wise development. After the project, Green Care methods have already been partially established, according to international examples, in the municipal and organizational sector and are offered professionally and responsibly to customers. In order to coordinate the services, a Green Care Knowledge Centre has been established in the Pori region. Green Care has been promoted, creating new partnerships and networks with good practices and attracting many interested parties to Green Care practices. The results of the pilots have been modelled and the different starting points and needs of women and men within specific groups have been taken into account. As a result of the project, the role of the third sector in preventing exclusion has been strengthened in the region. Rehabilitation measures include scientifically researched services based on natural well-being effects. (English)
