Hankkeen tavoitteena on uuden huoltotien avulla ottaa teollisuustoiminnan käyttöön Ratapellonkadun ja Parkatintien välillä oleva tonttivaranto. Uusien tonttien myötä kaupunkialueella oleva, teollisuuden käyttöön sopiva tonttitarjonta paranee, ja alueelle voi sijoittua joko uutta yritystoimintaa tai olemassa olevien yritysten laajenemismahdollisuudet paranevat. Ottamalla ko. alue kokonaan teollisuustoiminnan käyttöön selkeytetään Parkatin alueen maankäyttöä ja luodaan elinkeinoelämälle paremmat kehittymisedellytykset. (Finnish)

The aim of the project is to use a new service road to deploy an industrial property reserve between Ratapellonkatu and Parkatintie. New plots will improve the supply of land in the urban area, suitable for industrial use, and either new business activities may be located in the area or the expansion potential of existing enterprises will be improved. The introduction of the area as a whole will clarify the land use of the Parkat area and create better conditions for the development of the economy. (English)
