Vuosien 2017 ja 2018 aikana yrityksen tavoitteena on siirtyä vahvan, mutta kannattavan kasvun uralle.Koska kotimaan markkina on rajallinen, varsin hyvin hallinnassa ja kasvaa tavallaan automaattisesti referenssien perusteella, mutta markkinan koosta johtuen hyvin rajallisesti, ainoa keino nopeuttaa kasvua on suunnata entistä vahvemmin vientiin.Tämä taas edellyttää, että kasvuun kyetään vastaamaan sekä toimintaprosessien että tuotannon läpimenon osalta korkea laatu säilyttäen: ilman panostuksia näihin asioihin kasvun tavoitteleminen erityisesti vientimarkkinoilta ( tai mistä tahansa ) johtaa väistämättä ongelmiin sekä tuotannon että talouden osalta.Wheellaattorin avulla Tukimet saa aikaan merkittävän kasvun viennin kautta.
