The organic fertility of soils is increasingly of interest to farmers as it is influenced by the different practices that have occurred on this soil. In particular, the organic state of a soil has a strong impact on its biological quality. This is why these two aspects of soil fertility will be addressed in this project. On soil biological fertility, the bioindicators developed by RITTMO in previous years will be implemented in field trials to obtain references in different soil-climatic and agronomic conditions. Concerning the organic state of the soil and the link with the objectives of Initiative 4 per 1000, RITTMO will work to mount and implement projects aimed at: — develop methods for assessing the stabilisation of organic matter in soils — study the feasibility of practices for increasing C stocks in soils (English)
