L’opération s’inscrit dans la continuité d’un projet financé sur le PO FEDER 2007-2013 : BREGA. Ce précédent projet avait pour objectif principal de contribuer à une amélioration des connaissances sur la biodiversité guyanaise par la constitution d’une base de données sur les arthropodes, la formation de ressources humaines locales dédiées au tri des spécimens (parataxonomistes) et des retours vers le grand public. The operation follows on from a project funded under the 2007-2013 ERDF OP: BREGA. The main objective of this previous project was to contribute to a better knowledge of Guyana’s biodiversity through the establishment of a database on arthropods, the training of local human resources dedicated to sorting specimens (parataxonomists) and returns to the general public.
