    Le projet, porté par le Département de Loire-Atlantique en partenariat avec Nantes Métropole, la CARENE, Sydela, le Grand Port maritime et CAP Atlantique, concerne l’acquisition mutualisée d’une orthophotographie numérique. Le projet vise à réaliser une prise de vues aériennes couleur ortho-rectifiée du département de la Loire-Atlantique. Il s’agit de décrire la géographie de plus de 7 000 km2 à une résolution inédite à l'échelle départementale (10 cm), sans différence entre les agglomérations, les territoires périurbains et ruraux, qui bénéficieront tous de ce niveau de détail jusqu'à présent seulement réservé aux centres urbains denses.
