    Le couplage de la production de biogaz avec des procédés catalytiques permet de le convertir en composés chimiques de plus haute valeur ajoutée comme l’hydrogène ou le gaz de synthèse (H2+CO) pouvant être considéré comme sources d’énergie vertes. Cependant, la généralisation de la valorisation du biogaz dépendra largement de la maitrise des risques liés aux impuretés présentes dans sa composition ou de la durée limitée des catalyseurs. Le projet de thèse se propose d’étudier la composition du biogaz émis sur le centre d’enfouissement de déchets non dangereux d’Opale environnement, d’en quantifier les impuretés et leur provenance. Un biofiltre sera par la suite expérimenter pour en extraire les impuretés les plus nocives. .Les travaux se poursuivront par le développement de catalyseurs résistants dans les réactions de reformage à sec du biogaz réel en présence d’impuretés. Ce procédé de reformage à sec permet de produire des composés chimiques à haute valeur ajoutée. (French)

However, the widespread use of biogas will depend largely on the control of the risks associated with impurities present in its composition or the limited duration of catalysts. The thesis project proposes to study the composition of the biogas emitted on Opale Environnement’s non-hazardous waste landfill, to quantify its impurities and their origin. A biofilter will then be tested to extract the most harmful impurities. .Work will continue with the development of resistant catalysts in the dry reforming reactions of real biogas in the presence of impurities. This dry reforming process makes it possible to produce chemical compounds with high added value. (English)
