    Cette opération a pour objectif de remplacer un laser, actuellement implanté au Laboratoire de physique de la matière condensée (LPMC), âgé de 21 ans et en voie d’obsolescence. L’achat d’un nouveau laser pulsé à excimère assurera la pérennité des activités de recherche du LPMC, dans le domaine de la croissance des films minces. Ce type de laser est parfaitement adapté aux dépôts de couches minces d’oxydes (ferroélectriques, piézoélectriques, multiferroïques), domaine dans lequel est spécialisé le LPMC. Cet investissement doit permettre de maintenir en fonctionnement un système d’ablation laser, qui est essentiel pour atteindre les objectifs fixés dans plusieurs projets de recherche européens et régionaux, dans lesquels est impliqué le LPMC. Cette opération vise donc à permettre au LPMC de poursuivre son implication dans des projets de recherche tant au niveau régional, national qu’européen, et de développer ainsi une visibilité de ses activités de recherche dans le domaine des couches minces d’oxydes. The purchase of a new pulsed excimer laser will ensure the sustainability of LPMC’s research activities in the field of thin film growth. This type of laser is perfectly suited to the deposits of thin layers of oxides (ferroelectric, piezoelectric, multiferroil), a field in which LPMC specialises. This investment is intended to maintain a laser ablation system, which is essential for achieving the objectives set in several European and regional research projects, in which LPMC is involved. The aim of this operation is therefore to enable the LPMC to continue its involvement in research projects at regional, national and European level and thus to develop a visibility of its research activities in the field of oxide thin film.
