This partnership project is presented under the ERDF OP’s call for collaborative research projects 2014-2020, tranche 1. Jointly carried out by the University of the West Indies (Acts), this project has been favourably evaluated from a scientific point of view. The coordinator is the AU. The project brings together the scientific expertise and skills of the Actes laboratory and the CREFF of the AU, INSERM, CHU (Trauma Department) of CREPS, the DRJS, the Choisy Clinic, the Caribbean sickle cell centre. CROSGUA. The DSDS and the Region will also be involved in the project. The aim of the Actes Appli project is to offer the Guadeloupean populations physical activities adapted to their pathologies/level of practice/physical condition and their environment, i.e. the tropical environment. The target populations are high-level athletes and patients with sickle cell traits. The strong idea is to list Guadeloupe as a demonstrator for an integrated approach to health policy. Indeed, the aim of the project is to centralise and generalise the care of the Guadeloupean population through physical activity by having the actors involved in assessment, prescription and care work together.
