    Celem projektu jest utworzenie centrum badawczo-rozwojowego w firmie POLMLEK Prace badawczo-rozwojowe, które będą realizowane w utworzonym Centrum B+R będą ukierunkowane na znalezienie jak największych możliwości zagospodarowania melasy serwatkowej w postaci suchej. Opracowanie technologii suszenia melasy serwatkowej może przyczynić się do wykorzystania powstałych produktów jako cennego źródła składników odżywczych dla zwierząt hodowlanych. Opracowanie takich technologii pozwoli na otrzymanie różnych innowacyjnych produktów o zróżnicowanym składzie, a przede wszystkim o przedłużonej trwałości. Dodatek do melasy zróżnicowanych składników odżywczych będzie skutkował powstawaniem innowacyjnych, niedostępnych jak do tej pory na rynku polskim produktów, które znajdą zastosowanie w wielu gałęziach przemysłu jak spożywczy, farmaceutyczny oraz paszowy.
