A operação visa levar a cabo a materialização do Centro Cívico, que funcionará, após obras de reabilitação e ampliação, no edifício da antiga cantina social. Com a intervenção será colmatada uma carência sentida na cidade, no que diz respeito à existência de um espaço central, vocacionado para a realização de pequenas atividades culturais e de lazer e, responder às expectativas da população, de se dar um uso adequado a um edifício de referência. The operation aims to carry out the materialisation of the Civic Center, which will function, after rehabilitation and expansion works, in the building of the old social canteen. With the intervention, there will be a lack felt in the city, with regard to the existence of a central space, aimed at the realisation of small cultural and leisure activities and, responding to the expectations of the population, of making adequate use of a reference building.
