El objetivo de la empresa es estudiar y testar nuevas técnicas de curtición en pieles exóticas para los cortes de tipología hornbacks, es decir, cortes producidos por la parte de la espalda del animal. Este tipo de corte tiene características específicas debido a que posee durezas en la parte de la cola y que al llevar a cabo la curtición deriva en diferentes problemas, tales como: - Obtención de marcas visibles en la cola. - Durezas en la parte de atrás de la piel. - Limitación para la obtención de pieles de calidad homogénea. Gracias e estas nuevas técnicas de curtición para hornbacks, VERDEVELENO pretende obtener propiedades avanzadas en las pieles, como la eliminación o reducción de durezas que se obtienen al tratar este tipo de corte en pieles exóticas como las de cocodrilo o caimán, ya que actualmente con las técnicas existentes no se consigue reducir la dureza y la parte trasera de los hornbacks.
