El río Llobregat atraviesa de norte a sur la comarca del Berguedà. La industria vinculada al vapor convirtió el valle del Llobregat en un territorio con un gran dinamismo industrial y en el núcleo de la revolución industrial en nuestro país. A orillas del río Llobregat, y en un tramo de tan sólo 20 kilómetros, se llegaron a instalar 18 colonias textiles, representando la concentración de colonias del mundo destacando por su homogeneidad formal. En la parte alta del río se instalaron las colonias mineras de carbón._x000D_ _x000D_ El PO FEDER Berguedà se enmarca en el objetivo específico 6.3.1. de promoción de la protección, el fomento y el desarrollo del patrimonio cultural y se centra en tres ejes de actuación siendo:_x000D_ Eje 1.- Recuperación conservación y preservación del patrimonio industrial,_x000D_ Eje 2.- Recuperación conservación y preservación del patrimonio natural y fluvial_x000D_ Eje 3.- Fomento del equilibrio territorial en base a la recuperación de los usos (Spanish)

The Llobregat river crosses the region of Berguedà from north to south. The industry linked to steam turned the Llobregat valley into a territory with a great industrial dynamism and at the core of the industrial revolution in our country. Around of the river Llobregat, and in a section of only 20 kilometers, 18 textile colonies were installed, representing the largest concentration of colonies in the world.
