The function of the economiser is to recover the existing heat in the discharge fumes by heating the water that comes from the mother tank approximately from 90 °C to 110 °C, and from the same to charge to the boiler. Currently this water is heated with one of the existing gas boilers; therefore, such consumption will no longer be necessary with the new installation. _x000D_ the project will allow to increase the steady performance by 8-10 %, thus reducing the distance between the energy delivered to the silo and the demand in the manufacturing process, being undoubtedly a step forward in reducing the ppm in smoke suspension, reducing operating costs and maximising overall efficiency; for every 10 °C decrease in exhaust gas temperature, the degree of efficiency is increased by 1 %.
