The main objective of the project is to promote Slovenian literature on international markets. Slovenian literary creativity must become more visible, appreciated and recognisable in the context of other national literature, and the leap on the reputation scale will succeed precisely with the help of the status of honorary guest at the Frankfurt International Book Fair in 2023, where the aim is to carry out a comprehensive and high-quality programme of activities that will make it possible to put Slovenian literature and culture at the centre of the attention of both the visitors to the fair and the media at the largest book fair in the world, thus influencing the Slovenian book industry and its international uses.
