The operation will be implemented in a set of actions that aim to optimise urban mobility by structuring a network of Historical Peatonal Routes in the center of the city of Don Benito, a space in which most of the listed heritage, cultural and historical resources of the city are concentrated, which will be interconnected and identified within the routes themselves. It is estimated that it will intervene in the integral rehabilitation of 20.000 m² of streets in the surroundings of the city center. Approximately 40 % of the surface area is currently occupied by surface car parks, which will be returned to the pedestrian, creating preferential pedestrian itineraries, adapting the tracks through single platform operations.
