A operação consiste no aumento da capacidade de tratamento da ETAR da Murteira, de modo a compensar as novas solicitações do subsistema, com a introdução de uma nova fase de tratamento biológico (tecnologia MBR) e de intervenções na fase preliminar. A não concretização do investimento porá em causa, a curto prazo, o cumprimento de legislação comunitária e nacional, nomeadamente a DARU (Diretiva 91 /271 /CEE, de 21 de maio). (Portuguese)

The operation consists of increasing the treatment capacity of Murteira’s sewage treatment plant to compensate for the new requests of the subsystem, with the introduction of a new phase of biological treatment (MBR technology) and interventions in the preliminary phase. Failure to implement the investment will in the short term call into question compliance with Community and national legislation, in particular Daru (Directive 91/271/EEC of 21 May). (English)
