Pretende-se assegurar o fornecimento de água ao Bairro das Flores através da execução de uma conduta que fará a ligação da rede de distribuição de água da cidade de Beja, com origem na ETA do Roxo, à rede de distribuição do Bairro das Flores, que atualmente é servido por uma captação de água subterrânea de fraca produtividade e profundidade, que se encontra bastante vulnerável, garantindo-se deste modo o fecho em baixa do sistema do Roxo.
