    La infraestructura a la que hace referencia la presente solicitud tiene como objetivo suplir las evidentes carencias de tipo computacional de la que adolecen varias líneas y grupos de investigación de la Universidad de Huelva. _x000D_ _x000D_ La petición consiste en:_x000D_ -Rack._x000D_ -Servidores para almacenamiento: se solicitarán dos módulos (redundantes). La capacidad de almacenamiento en cada uno de estos módulos será de unos 10TB._x000D_ -Módulos de computo: módulo de 4 procesadores, con 32 "cores" por procesador y 2 "threads" por "core", lo que supone un total de 256 "threads". La memoria del sistema será de 512 GB._x000D_ -Sistema de alimentación ininterrumpida._x000D_ -"Switch" de comunicaciones. _x000D_ -Acondicionamiento de una sala._x000D_ _x000D_ Los objetivos científicos científicos de esta infraestructura son muy variados, dada la variedad de investigación que desarrollan los grupos proponentes. De forma resumida:_x000D_ -Cálculos de estructura y reacciones nucleares._x000D_ -Cálculos de estructura molecular._x000D_ -Cálculos de transiciones de fase cuánticas. _x000D_ -Modelos atmosféricos (WRF). _x000D_ -Cálculos bayesianos con partículas supersimétricas. _x000D_ -Almacenamiento y análisis de datos experimentales de Física Nuclear. _x000D_ _x000D_ En resumen, dada la variedad de objetivos científicos y la experiencia contrastada de los grupos, la infraestructura solicitada aquí mejorará notablemente la productividad científica de los grupos implicados.
