    PARCITANK, empresa líder a nivel nacional en la producción de depósitos y grandes instalaciones, ha terminado recientemente un proyecto CDTI (IDI-20170421) en el que ha desarrollado un prototipo de granja vertical dentro de un depósito cilíndrico de grandes dimensiones. Esta innovación representa un avance significativo para la tecnología de las granjas verticales, dado que permite aprovechar al máximo el espacio ocupado y multiplicar el rendimiento de producción de la superficie ocupada. Además, al ser un depósito desmontable, estas granjas se pueden instalar fácilmente al lado de cualquier tipo de negocio, reduciendo emisiones, tiempo y gastos asociados al transporte y aumentando la frescura de los productos vendidos._x000D_ _x000D_ En este nuevo proyecto, PARCITANK se plantea aprovechar el prototipo del proyecto anterior para desarrollar un conjunto de tecnologías que permitirán, entre otras cosas, aumentar la productividad, la versatilidad, el control de producción, y reducir el consumo de electricidad de la red y los residuos resultantes. Estas tecnologías las divide en 3 grandes líneas de investigación: 1) Nuevos cultivos y automatización de procesos, 2) Industria 4.0 para gestión a distancia y 3) Revalorizar residuos e integrar energías renovables. El proyecto se estructura en una actividad de investigación y definición de especificaciones, una segunda de desarrollo y finalmente la integración y validación final._x000D_ _x000D_ Se trata de un proyecto estratégico tanto para la empresa como para el mercado, ya que permitirá obtener un producto mucho más rentable técnica y económicamente, haciéndolo mucho más atractivo para el cliente, reduciendo su coste y la dificultad de uso. De este modo, se reducirán las barreras de entrada al mercado y se facilitará la replicación de la tecnología en el mercado, lo cual tendrá un impacto directo en el aprovechamiento de la superficie terrestre y en la reducción del impacto medioambiental del sector. This innovation represents a significant advance for the technology of vertical farms, as it makes it possible to make the most of the space occupied and to multiply the production performance of the occupied area. Moreover, being a detachable warehouse, these farms can be easily installed next to any type of business, reducing emissions, time and expenses associated with transport and increasing the freshness of the products sold._x000D_ _x000D_ In this new project, Parcitank intends to take advantage of the prototype of the previous project to develop a set of technologies that will, among other things, increase productivity, versatility, production control, and reduce the electricity consumption of the grid and the resulting waste. These technologies divide them into 3 main lines of research: 1) New crops and process automation, 2) Industry 4.0 for remote management and 3) Revalorise waste and integrate renewable energy. The project is structured into an activity of research and definition of specifications, a second development and finally the integration and final validation._x000D_ _x000D_ It is a strategic project for both the company and the market, since it will make it possible to obtain a much more profitable product technically and economically, making it much more attractive to the customer, reducing its cost and the difficulty of use. This will reduce market entry barriers and facilitate replication of technology on the market, which will have a direct impact on land use and the reduction of the environmental impact of the sector.
