    El objetivo del presente proyecto se centra en el desarrollo de un nuevo sistema calentador integrado para sistemas de reducción catalítica selectiva. Estos sistemas inyectan urea en el sistema de escape de motores de combustión para reducir la emisión de óxidos nítricos y así cumplir con la actual normativa sobre emisiones EURO VI. El elemento calentador de urea es un componente fundamental en el acondicionamiento del fluido para conseguir un correcto funcionamiento del sistema. Se trata de componentes con una vida útil equivalente a la vida útil del filtro por lo que no deben ser reemplazados. La eficiencia del sistema y el cumplimiento de requisitos legales dependen en gran medida de la adecuación del fluido de urea. Por lo tanto, los esfuerzos por optimizar este elemento son necesarios para garantizar la eficiencia global del sistema._x000D_ _x000D_ El objetivo técnico es conseguir un nuevo sistema calentador de urea integrado en el módulo filtrante que permita alcanzar un grado óptimo de descongelación de la urea en el tanque en condiciones de temperaturas bajas y un rápido suministro del fluido hacía la válvula dosificadora, de forma que sea posible garantizar la máxima eficiencia del sistema durante la vida útil del sistema. Cabe destacar que el desarrollo del presente proyecto, conlleva importantes dificultades y retos tecnológicos, principalmente debidos a la necesidad de garantizar la estanqueidad y robustez del conjunto filtrante del nuevo concepto circular que favorezca la transferencia uniforme de calor. Adicionalmente, se requiere de análisis en la influencia de la implantación de este nuevo concepto en el resto de elementos del sistema filtrante: tamaño de poro del medio filtrante, nuevos procesos de conformado y tratamientos térmicos. These systems inject urea into the exhaust system of combustion engines to reduce the emission of nitric oxides to comply with the current EURO VI emission regulations. The urea heating element is a fundamental component in fluid conditioning to ensure proper functioning of the system. These are components with a lifespan equivalent to the life of the filter so they should not be replaced. System efficiency and compliance with legal requirements depend to a large extent on the adequacy of urea fluid. Therefore, the efforts to optimise this element are necessary to ensure the overall efficiency of the system._x000D_ _x000D_ The technical objective is to achieve a new urea heating system integrated into the filter module to achieve an optimal degree of defrosting of the urea in the tank under low temperature conditions and a rapid supply of the fluid to the metering valve, so that it is possible to guarantee maximum system efficiency during the service life of the system. It should be noted that the development of this project entails significant technological difficulties and challenges, mainly due to the need to ensure the tightness and robustness of the filtering set of the new circular concept that favours the uniform transfer of heat. In addition, analysis is required on the influence of the implementation of this new concept on the other elements of the filtering system: pore size of the filter medium, new forming processes and heat treatments.
