In the second half of the eighteenth century the new stretch of the road from Avilés to Oviedo opens, linking the village with the beginning of the slope of the Vidriero, where the road then ran. It formed a flanked walk of poplars elevated on low and flood-prone terrain, which prevented the rodeo given by the previous access. These walks, on the outskirts of the cities and villas, were frequent in the architecture of the Enlightenment, promoted by King Charles III, who also liked to adorn these places with monumental works, such as fountains, leguary posts, doors, arches and stone benches. For this reason, this operation aims to carry out the following actions:_x000D_ 1- Surface consolidation of the monument without concealing the repair and without highlighting the cracks, and filling where possible the gaps and the elements removed with stone._x000D_ 2- Highlight the condition of stay, of “Stop on the road” generating a small square with stone slabs of texture and color similar to the limestone of Bustiello._x000D_ 3- Give continuity to the path without highlighting it regarding the square that must be highlighted with respect to the rest._x000D_ 4- With the same criterion of highlighting the stay area of Los Canapés, a new lighting will be defined, which in_x000D_ any case, will not be installed in the passable zone._x000D_ 5- As far as possible, action will be taken on the lids and records located in the defined area.
