EN EL MAR DE ALBORAN SU ACTIVIDAD HA PRODUCIDO DESDE ENERO DE 2016 UNA CRISIS SISMICA CON TERREMOTOS QUE HAN ALCANZADO M=6.3, HAN OCASIONADO DAÑOS MATERIALES EN MELILLA Y EFECTOS EN EL SUR DE ANDALUCIA Y NORTE DE MARRUECOS. LA ZONA SE PROLONGA EN LA REGION DE ALHUCEMAS (RIF) QUE SUFRIO EN 2004 EL TERREMOTO RECIENTE MAS CATASTROFICO DEL MEDITERRANEO OCCIDENTAL (M=6.3)._x000D_ LA METODOLOGIA INTEGRADA QUE SE UTILIZARA EN AREAS EMERGIDAS Y SUMERGIDAS PERMITE IDENTIFICAR Y CARACTERIZAR CON PRECISION LA ACTIVIDAD DE LAS ZONAS DE FALLA EN NIVELES SUPERFICIALES Y PROFUNDOS DE LA CORTEZA, SU COMPORTAMIENTO SISMICO Y EVALUAR SUS EFECTOS. CON ESTE FIN SE INTEGRARAN INVESTIGACIONES GEOLOGICAS, GEODESICAS Y GEOFISICAS EN TIERRA Y MAR. LAS INVESTIGACIONES GEOLOGICAS INCLUYEN TECTONICA, ESTRATIGRAFIA, SEDIMENTOLOGIA Y ANALISIS DEL RELIEVE. IN THE ALBORAN SEA ITS ACTIVITY HAS PRODUCED SINCE JANUARY 2016 A SEISMIC CRISIS WITH EARTHQUAKES THAT HAVE REACHED M=6.3, HAVE CAUSED MATERIAL DAMAGE IN MELILLA AND EFFECTS IN SOUTHERN ANDALUCIA AND NORTHERN MOROCCO. The zone is proposed in the region of Alhucemas (RIF) that in 2004 the most recent catastrophic land of the Western Mediterranean (M=6.3)._x000D_ THE INTEGRATED METODOLOGY that will be used in emerged and submerged areas permittes to identify and characterise with precision the activity of the zones of furloughs in superficial and sustainable Corteza, your seismic behavior AND EVALUATE YOUR EFFECTS. TO THIS END, GEOLOGIC, GEODESIC AND GEOPHYSICAL RESEARCH ON LAND AND SEA WILL BE INTEGRATED. GEOLOGIC RESEARCHES INCLUDE TECTONICS, ESTRATIGRAFIA, SEDIMENTOLOGY AND RELIEF ANALYSIS. GEOPHYSICAL INVESTIGATIONS WILL CONSIST OF THE ANALYSIS OF SEISMICITY; IN THE ALBORAN SEA, THE INTEGRATION OF AVAILABLE DATA FROM SEISMIC REFLECTION PROFILES AND PARAMETRICS; IN THE CENTRAL CROSS OF THE BETICA MOUNTAIN RANGE AND THE RIF, THE ACQUISITION OF NEW MAGNETOTELURICOS, GRAVITY AND MAGNETIC DATA. IN ADDITION, IN SHALLOW COASTAL AREAS, THE ACQUISITION OF NEW BATIMETRIA DATA AND HIGH RESOLUTION PROFILES WILL ALLOW THE CONTINUITY OF STRUCTURES TO BE ESTABLISHED ON LAND AND AT SEA. GEODESIC INVESTIGATIONS WILL CONTINUE THE HISTORICAL SERIES OF GPS AND HIGH PRECISION LEVELLING NETWORKS ALREADY INSTALLED IN THE MAJOR FAULT ZONES TO ANALYSE THEIR MOVEMENTS. IN ADDITION, THE AIM IS TO STUDY IN DETAIL THE NEW ACTIVE STRUCTURES IDENTIFIED DURING THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE PROJECT THROUGH SURFACE GEOPHYSICAL TECHNIQUES AND PRECISE GEOLOGIC OBSERVATIONS. _x000D_ for this project is counted on the MATERIAL MEASURES AND A PLURIDISCIPLINAL RESEARCH EQUIPMENT OF DIFFERENT INSTITUCTIONS (GRANADA UNIVERSITYS, JAEN, MALAGA, CSIC, IGME) as well as an AMPLY WORKING EQUIPMENT WITH DIFFERENT COUNTRIES (FRANCE, GERMANY, PORTUGAL, MARRUECOS, UK, DENMARK, RUSSIA)._x000D_ FINAL RESULTS OF PROJECT, OF INTERESTS FOR INSTITUCTIONS AND BUSINESS, CONTRIBUY TO THE RETIES OF SOCIETY AND would allow the modelling of the TSUNAMIS produced by technology in the sea of ALBORAN, as well as characterising the EFFECTS IN THE EARTH OF THE ACTIVE FALLS ON reservoirs, WITH CONSEQUENCES IN TRANSPORT INFRASTRUCTURES AND EDIFICATIONS. THEY WILL ALSO CONTRIBUTE TO ADVANCE THE DESIGN OF MONITORING NETWORKS THAT ALLOW QUANTIFYING THE MOVEMENT OF FAILURES AND RELATING IT TO THEIR SEISMICITY. (English)
