    Namen projekta i-KUPI je razviti inovativen sistem za zvezno kontrolo ustreznosti komponent in ključnih mer pločevinastih izdelkov na pametnem mehatronskem orodju. Cilj projekta i-KUPI je ponuditi kupcem končno razviti inovativni sistem (na nivoju TRL 9), ki bo omogočal poleg zvezne kontrole ustreznosti komponent in ključnih mer pločevinastih izdelkov še izboljšan postopek karakterizacije pločevinastih materialov, kar predstavlja unikaten visokotehnološki proizvod, katerega lahko Gorenje Orodjarna izvaža v številne bolj ali manj razvite evropske in svetovne države, kjer že je oz. bo v prihodnje močno zastopan orodjarski in avtomobilski sektor ter centri za karakterizacijo pločevinastih materialov.     The purpose of the i-KUPI project is to develop an innovative system for the continuous control of the suitability of components and key dimensions of sheet metal products on smart mechatron tools. The goal of the i-KUPI project is to offer customers an innovative system (at TRL level 9) that will allow, in addition to federal control of the suitability of components and key dimensions of sheet metal products, an improved process of characterisation of sheet metal materials, which is a unique high-tech product that Gorenje Orodjarna can export to many more or less developed European and global countries, where the toolmaking and automotive sectors and the identification centres for sheet metal materials are already or will be strongly represented in the future.
