La operación implementará en una actuación que persigue optimizar la movilidad urbana, facilitando los desplazamientos de peatones entre las sendas peatonal-ciclistas, y el Centro Histórico y comercial de la ciudad de Don Benito. _x000D_ La Operación se sustanciará en la intervención de un parte de la red viaria calificada como de primer orden, concretamente la Calle Alemania y la Plaza de Berlín en Don Benito, y la implementación de un de itinerario mixtos de preferencia peatonal que permita conectar la Avenida de la Constitución, principal eje comercial – peatonal de acceso al Centro Histórico de la Localidad con el Cinturón de Movilidad Urbana Sostenible (oeste) de la Ciudad de Don Benito, puesto en marcha a través de la Operación OT4-MDV-A0004-OP01D dentro de la Línea de Actuación 3.1.1. (OE 4.5.1.) de la EDUSI. Para ello, se intervendrá en la reurbanización completa de una superficie viaria en torno a 5.000,00 metros cuadrados generando un itinerario mixto de preferencia peatonal que recupere la accesibilidad del espacio y promueva la reversión de las áreas actualmente ocupadas por el aparcamiento en superficie (60% de la red viaria a intervenir). La intervención deberá dar como resultado un espacio urbano remodelado en el que convivan el tráfico rodado con los itinerarios peatonales, con prioridad para estos últimos, permitiendo la conexión fluida entre la Calle Don Llorente con la Avenida de la Constitución, principio y final de la vía a intervenir. The operation will be implemented in an action that aims to optimise urban mobility, facilitating pedestrian movements between the pedestrian-cyclist paths, and the historic and commercial center of the city of Don Benito. _x000D_ the Operation will take place in the intervention of a part of the road network qualified as of first order, namely the German Street and the Berlin Square in Don Benito, and the implementation of a mixed route of pedestrian preference to connect the Avenida de la Constitución, the main commercial axis — pedestrian access to the Historic Centre of the Locality with the Sustainable Urban Mobility Belt (West) of the City of Don Benito, launched through Operation OT4-MDV-A0004-OP01D within the Action Line 3.1.1. (OE 4.5.1.) of the EDUSI. To do this, we will intervene in the complete redevelopment of a road surface of around 5,000.00 square meters generating a mixed itinerary of pedestrian preference that recovers the accessibility of the space and promotes the reversal of the areas currently occupied by the surface parking (60 % of the road network to intervene). The intervention should result in a remodeled urban space in which road traffic coexist with pedestrian itineraries, with priority for the latter, allowing the smooth connection between Calle Don Llorente and Avenida de la Constitución, beginning and end of the road to intervene.
