FRUTO DE ELLO SON LOS MÉTODOS DE FABRICACIÓN LLAMADOS TAILOR WELDED BLANKS Y EL AVANCE DE LOS ACEROS DE ALTA RESISTENCIA. MEDIANTE ESTAS TÉCNICAS PODREMOS REDUCIR PESO E INCREMENTAR RESISTENCIA. FRUTO DE ESTA FILOSOFÍA DE FABRICACIÓN SE PRETENDE AUMENTAR TODAVÍA MÁS LA REDUCCIÓN DE PESO IMPLEMENTANDO EL ALUMINIO COMO MATERIAL CLAVE DEBIDO A SUS EXCELENTES PROPIEDADES DE RESISTENCIA MECÁNICA Y LIGEREZA. DURANTE LA EJECUCIÓN DEL PROYECTO SE PRETENDE ENCONTRAR LOS MÉTODOS MÁS ADECUADOS PARA SOLDAR CHAPAS DE ALUMINIO Y ACERO MEDIANTE SOLDADURA LASER. EL PROYECTO ABRE UNA NUEVA OPORTUNIDAD DE FABRICAR COMPONENTE (Spanish)

    THE DISSWELD PROJECT AIMS TO ACHIEVE DISSIMILAR SHEETS INTENDED TO OBTAIN AUXILIARY AUTOMOTIVE SECTOR BY LASER WELD ALUMINUM STEEL MATERIAL. THE GROWING DEMAND SECTOR FOR REDUCING GREENHOUSE GAS EMISSIONS AND WEIGHT OF VEHICLES HAS FORCED COMPANIES TO INNOVATE IN TERMS OF BONDING METHODS AND MATERIALS USED. A RESULT OF THIS MANUFACTURING METHODS ARE CALLED TAILOR WELDED BLANKS AND THE ADVANCEMENT OF HIGH STRENGTH STEELS. USING THESE TECHNIQUES WE CAN REDUCE WEIGHT AND INCREASE STRENGTH. THE RESULT OF THIS MANUFACTURING PHILOSOPHY IS TO INCREASE FURTHER WEIGHT REDUCTION AS KEY IMPLEMENTING ALUMINUM MATERIAL DUE TO ITS EXCELLENT MECHANICAL STRENGTH AND LIGHTNESS. DURING EXECUTION OF THE PROJECT IT IS TO FIND THE MOST SUITABLE FOR WELDING STEEL PLATES AND ALUMINUM BY LASER WELDING METHODS. THE PROJECT OPENS A NEW OPPORTUNITY TO MANUFACTURE HYBRID COMPONENTS CAPABLE OF PROVIDING A COMBINATION OF CAPABILITIES SO FAR NOT PRESENT IN THE INDUSTRY.
