The goal of the project is to develop a new process optimizing all physical (temperature, time, mechanical effect) and chemical (chemicals added to each process step, working pH for each stage) to allow tanning, obtaining leathers high quality and flawless skin in the area of ¿¿the spine (backstrap) Gators largest in the world, the Nile crocodile and the crocodile porous. To achieve this is to develop a new type of process than the currently employed, whose main challenge is to eliminate the large amount of bone that leads this area of ¿¿the reptiles without affecting the quality of the finish, especially with a flower skin relates particularly soft and delicate in this area and that is the part which marks the end product value. To achieve this goal must change and optimize a number of process variables currently followed for other similar skins in order to avoid the problem of removing bones (boning) mentioned in the preceding paragraph. These variables are: o specific temperature so (English)
