En la presente propuesta se solicita equipamiento orientado a fortalecer la línea de investigación en Procesos y Sistemas Avanzados de Fabricación del Instituto de Investigación en Ingeniería y Tecnologías Avanzadas para la Industria Digital (ERICA) de la Universidad de Cádiz. Concretamente, se solicita la financiación necesaria para adquirir un ¿Sistema para la realización de estudios de conformabilidad de materiales metálicos con medición automática de la deformación¿._x000D_ _x000D_ Los grupos solicitantes mantienen una elevada actividad en el desarrollo de proyectos de I+D industrial orientados a la simulación mediante programas de elementos finitos de diferentes procesos industriales de conformado de materiales metálicos. Para obtener simulaciones de calidad es preciso disponer de técnicas experimentales que permitan realizar una caracterización detallada de los materiales de interés. En la actualidad, los laboratorios de los grupos solicitantes cuentan con equipamiento que permite realizar parte de los estudios citados. Con el objeto de aumentar las capacidades de dichos laboratorios, se solicita ahora un sistema que permite caracterizar el comportamiento de metales en procesos de deformación con la particularidad de incorporar un sistema de medida automática de las deformaciones. Entre otros, el sistema solicitado permitiría realizar ensayos de embutición de copa profunda, curvas límite de conformado (FLC), ensayos de embutición de Erichsen o ensayos de expansión de orificios. This proposal requests a equipment aimed at strengthening the research line in Advanced Manufacturing Processes and Systems of the Institute for Research in Engineering and Advanced Technologies for the Digital Industry (ERICA) of the University of Cadiz. Specifically, the requested funding is necessary to acquire a "System for the performance of conformability studies of metallic materials with automatic measurement of deformation"._x000D_ _x000D_ The applicant groups maintain a high level of activity in the development of industrial R&D projects aimed at the simulation of different industrial processes for forming metallic materials by means of the use of finite element programmes . In order to obtain quality simulations it is necessary to have experimental techniques that enable to obtain a detailed characterization of the materials of interest. At present, the laboratories of the applicant groups have some equipment that allows them to carry out part of the aforementioned studies. In order to increase the capabilities of these laboratories, a system that enable to characterise the behaviour of metals in deformation processes with the particularity of incorporating a system for automatic measurement of deformations is now requested . Among others, the requested system would allow deep cup drawing tests, limit forming curves (FLC), Erichsen drawing tests or orifice expansion tests (English)
