(Spanish)

It is proposed the acquisition of a high performance spectrophotometer that would allow to elucidate the processes involved in photocatalytic reactions related to the clean production of energy and the protection of the environment. It should be pointed out that this line of research is aligned with the challenges proposed at the regional, national and European levels. This equipment would provide to the Institute of Electron Microscopy and Materials (IMEYMAT) at the University of Cadiz with a unique infrastructure at the Andalusian and Spanish level, since there are no equipment that can perform measurements under reaction conditions while the photocatalytic activity is obtained. This information is essential to identify the processes that reduce the efficiency of photocatalysts and determine the most effective catalysts configurations. (English)
