La industria textil de Mataró y Maresme es la primera industria del territorio. Representa el 15% del PIB y emplea a cientos de trabajadores, siendouno de los primerosterritorios de Cataluña en esta industria, donde se concentranempresas de toda la cadena de valor (tejidos, tinte, confección, estampación, complementos, servicios...), especializadastradicionalmente en el género de punto circular. Desde la universidad y elemprendimientosurgennuevasmaneras de hacer y entender que promueven los cambios en la sociedad. TecnoCampus, ecosistema pionero en Cataluña con un modelo de triple hélice (universidad-empresa-administración),apuesta por impulsar estasnuevasmaneras de entender el textil del futuro y genera riqueza en el territorio. Desde el centro ReimagineTextile, queremos aplicar la mismametodología y experiencia para impulsar proyectosvinculados al diseño y la innovacióntextil y hacer del Maresme un referente. También impulsar la generación de conocimiento y talento en textil a niveluniversitario e incentivar a jóvenes de educación secundaria, mediante el Programa Xnergic, en vocacionestecnológicas y aptitudesemprendedorasaplicadas al sector textil. Concretamente, se quiere consolidar el trabajorealizado con la creación e impulso de una incubadora de proyectosempresariales y de programas de aceleración para startups de: proyectos de diseñotextil, de tejidos de uso técnico, pequeñasunidadesproductivas en textil de valor añadido; proyectos innovadores en tecnologíatextil y proyectostextilesbasados en sostenibilidad y socialmente responsables. Textile production is the principal activity of Mataró and the Maresme region. The industry is responsible for 15% of the GDP in the area, employs hundreds of workers and is one of the leading areas of textile production in Catalonia. The Maresme region hosts a concentration of businesses that represent the entire value chain of companies that have traditionally specialized in circular knit fashions; textiles or fabrics, dye, crafting, printing and stamping, accessories, services, etc. may all be found in the area. The partnering of the university and entrepreneurship is producing new ways of understanding the textile industry, which can lead to new methods that will help to achieve important changes in our society. Tecnocampus, with a pioneer ecosystem in Catalonia consisting of a triple helix model (University-Business-Administration), fosters new ways of understanding the future of textiles and generates wealth in the region. Reimagine Textile center applies the same methodology and experience to foster projects linked to design and textile innovation to help the region become a reference point. The aim is also to generate knowledge and talent in the textile sector at the university level, and to boost young secondary school students in a technological and entrepreneurial vocation applied to this sector with a program called ¿Xnergic¿. Specifically, this project aims to consolidate the work done by creating and boosting an incubator of business projects and acceleration programs of start-ups in the areas of: textile design, technical textile, small production of textile with added value, technology and innovation based in textile with an environmental sustainability or social component. This action will be coordinated with another action led by the technological center EURECAT to support companies and encourage R+D+I. (English)
