(Spanish)

Development of localisation systems using LPWA (Low Power Wide Area) systems, which are low-power and far-reaching communications networks, to make a localisation system with very low power consumption, low cost and small size. These devices have a potential for deployment on a much larger scale that the ones currently available, since they give a precise position rapidly and in real time. The results of the project can be integrated in bracelets, watches, key rings, etc., and allow the location to be supervised of elderly people or people with cognitive impairment (e.g. Alzheimer¿s or dementia) or with behavioural disorders (e.g. Down¿s syndrome or autism spectrum disorders). In addition, the devices can connect the dependent person to their carers or family in cases of emergency. (English)
