Como consecuencia de la puesta en servicio de la conexión entre Plasencia y Badajoz de la LAV Madrid-Extremadura, es necesario la mejora de la conexión de esta línea con Madrid en el tramo Humanes-Monfragüe de la Línea Madrid-Valencia de Alcántara (L500). Por ello, se recogen dentro de esta operación las actuaciones necesarias para mejorar la explotación y seguridad de las circulaciones, así como compatibilizar las instalaciones existentes en ambos tramos._x000D_ _x000D_ Igualmente se contemplan todas las asistencias técnicas (para redacción de estudios y proyectos, control de obras, supervisión, calidad, seguridad y salud) necesarias para realizar las actuaciones contempladas.
