Náplní předloženého projektu je rekonstrukce železniční stanice Letohrad. Stanice leží na trati č. 024 Ústí nad Orlicí - Štíty, která je v úseku Ústí nad Orlicí - Lichkov součástí globální sítě TEN-T. Účelem je zvýšení rychlosti pro průjezd vlaků, zlepšení komfortu cestujících při přístupu k vlakům vybudováním podchodu vč. nových nástupišť a zvýšení bezpečnosti dopravy instalací nového zabezpečovacího zařízení, které umožní dálkové ovládaní z CDP Praha. The project covers the reconstruction of the Letohrad railway station. The stations are located on line No 024 of Ústí nad Orlicí — shields, which is part of the section Ústí nad Orlicí — Lichkov, part of the TEN-T comprehensive network. the purpose is to increase the speed of passage of trains, to improve the comfort of passengers with access to trains by creating a subway, including new platforms, and to increase the safety of transport by installing new signalling equipment which will enable a long-distance control of CDP Prague.
