Proiectul are ca obiectiv general continuarea îmbunătățirii infrastructurii în sectorul de apă uzată din Municipiul București în vederea îndeplinirii obligațiilor de conformare cu angajamentele de tranziție și cu obiectivele intermediare convenite între Comisia Europeană și Guvernul României, pentru implementarea Directivei 91/271 a CE cu privire la colectarea și tratarea apelor uzate urbane (transpusă în legislația națională prin Hotărarea 352/2005, referitoare la tratarea apei uzate urbane). Contributia Proiectului la atingerea obiectivelor POIM este: - 2S29 SEAU peste 10,000 p.e.conforme cu Directiva 91/271/CEE – 1 buc; - 2S31 Nivel de conectare la sistemul de colectare (p.e.) pentru aglomerari peste 10,000 p.e. – 10,43 %, procent calculat ca raport intre capacitatea aditionala rezultata din extinderea SEAU Glina (1.553.000 PE) si capacitatea aferenta aglomerarilor cu PE mai mare 10000 LE la nivel de tara - 14.882.018 LE, conform ANAR (Romanian)

The general objective of the project is to continue improving infrastructure in the waste water sector in Bucharest in order to fulfil the obligations to comply with the transition commitments and the intermediate targets agreed between the European Commission and the Romanian Government for the implementation of EC Directive 91/271 on urban waste water collection and treatment (transposed into national legislation by Decision 352/2005 on urban waste water treatment). The project’s contribution to achieving LIOP objectives is: — 2S29 SEAU over 10,000 p.e. conforming to Directive 91/271/EEC – 1 pcs; — 2S31 Connection level to the collection system (p.e.) for agglomerations over 10,000 p.e. – 10.43 %, calculated as a ratio between the additional capacity resulting from the expansion of SEAU Glina (1.553.000 PE) and the capacity for agglomerations with more than 10000 LE at country level – 14.882.018 LE, according to ANAR (English)
