Projekt je zameraný na zvýšenie ekologickej stability riešeného územia čo povedie k zvýšeniu kvality života obyvateľov žijúcich na území regenerovaného vnútroblokového priestoru. Jeho cieľom je „Zlepšiť environmentálne prostredie mesta Košice, posilniť ekologickú stabilitu územia, zvýšiť kvalitu života obyvateľov prostredníctvom regenerácie mestského vnútroblokového verejne prístupného priestoru na sídlisku Dargovských hrdinov, uplatnením ekologických princípov pri tvorbe zelene.“Hlavnou aktivitou je Regenerácia vnútrobloku sídliska Dargovských hrdinov s uplatnením ekologických princípov tvorby a ochrany zelene.Naplnenie stanoveného cieľa prostredníctvom realizácie hlavnej aktivity projektu povedie k dosiahnutiu cieľov a výsledkov podpory IROP, nakoľko obsahom hlavnej aktivity sú sadové úpravy v podobe výsadby stromov a krov a stavebné úpravy, ktorými dôjde ku konverzii spevnených plôch na trávnaté plochy, obnove odpočinkových zón, chodníkov, rekonštrukcie ihrísk, osadeniu herných prvkov a mobiliáru.Miestom realizácie je MČ Košice – Dargovských hrdinov. Merateľný ukazovateľ: Vytvorené alebo obnovené otvorené priestranstvá v mestských oblastiach – 33 935 m². (Slovak)

Its aim is to “Improve the environmental environment of the city of Košice, strengthen the ecological stability of the area, increase the quality of life of the inhabitants through regeneration of the urban in-block publicly accessible space in the housing estate of Dargovské Heroes, applying ecological principles in the creation of greenery.”The main activity is the regeneration of the inner block of the estate of Dargovské Heroes with the application of ecological principles of creation and protection of greenery.Following the set goal through the implementation of the main activity of the project will lead to the achievement of the objectives and results of IROP support. as the main activity includes orchard modifications in the form of planting trees and shrubs and building modifications, which will convert paved areas into grassy areas, restore resting zones, pavements, reconstruction of playgrounds, installation of game elements and mobile phones. The place of implementation is MČ Košice – Dargovské Heroes. Measurable indicator: Created or restored open spaces in urban areas – 33935 m². (English)
