    Obiectivul general al proiectului il reprezinta reducerea emisiilor de carbon prin implementarea unui sistem inteligent de management al traficului, bazat pe solutii de eficientizare si reducere a poluarii in Municipul Bacau. Sistemul inteligent de management al traficului propus a fi implementat prin prezentul proiect este compus din mai multe componente. Astfel, se propune implementarea componentei de trafic de management care sa asigure o adaptare a timpilor de semaforizare in functie de informatiile asupra fluxurilor de trafic primite in timp real de la echipamentele din teren–management adaptiv al traficului; componentei de monitorizare care asigura monitorizarea video a locatiilor semaforizate, in vederea cresterii sigurantei rutiere pentru toti participantii la trafic: calatori cu transportul public, biciclisti, pietoni, conducatori auto; componenta de identificare automata a numarului de inmatriculare cu rol de crestere a sigurantei traficului rutier si de suport pentru luarea de decizii asupra organizarii circulatiei, prin inregistrarea vehiculelor care intra/ies din municipiu; si nu in ultimul rand, componenta de prioritizare a vehiculelor de transport public al carui rol este de asigurare a adaptarii timpilor de semaforizare in functie de informatiile primite in timp real asupra pozitiei vehiculelor de transport public, astfel incat sa asigure mijloacelor de transport public o traversare cat mai rapida a intersectiilor semaforizate. Astfel, Municipiul Bacau urmareste dezvoltarea mobilitatii urbane prin implementarea unor solutii care faciliteaza transportul in comun si incurajeaza persoanele sa utilizeze mijloace alternative de transport prin sporirea atractivitatii si utilitatii acestuia, cresterea fluiditatii traficului pe principalele artere ale municipiului, reducerea poluarii mediului, precum si a puluarii fonice la nivelul intregului oras. Proiectul vine in intampinarea obiectivului specific 4.1 al prioritatii de investitii 4e al POR 2014-2020, prin implementarea unor masuri strategice, bazate pe datele din Planul de Moiblitate Urbana Durabila a Municipiului Bacau, ce vor conduce la promovarea mobilitatii urbane multimodale durabile si la reducerea emisiilor de CO2, ca urmare a imbunatatirii transferului catre transportul public si catre modurile nemotorizate de transport in detrimentul transportului cu autoturismele personale. o subsistem de control al traficului; o subsistem de monitorizare video a traficului; o subsistem de comunicații cu fibra optica; o subsistem de comunicații radio; o subsistem centru de comanda si control; o subsistem semnalizare rutieră (marcaje orizontale și verticale) o subsistem de prioritizare a vehiculelor de transport public în intersecții semaforizate. o subsistem informare/indentificare automata a numerelor de inmatriculare (Romanian)

    The general objective of the project is to reduce carbon emissions by implementing an intelligent traffic management system based on solutions for the efficiency and reduction of pollution in Bacau. The intelligent traffic management system proposed to be implemented by this project is composed of several components. Thus, it is proposed to implement the management traffic component to ensure an adaptation of the traffic lights times according to the information on the traffic flows received in real time from the equipment in the field-adaptive traffic management; monitoring component that ensures video monitoring of traffic lights, in order to increase road safety for all road users: public transport passengers, cyclists, pedestrians, drivers; the component of automatic identification of the registration number with the role of increasing road traffic safety and supporting decisions on the organisation of traffic, by registering vehicles entering/out of the municipality; and last but not least, the prioritisation component of public transport vehicles whose role is to ensure the adaptation of traffic light times according to the information received in real time on the position of public transport vehicles, so as to ensure the means of public transport a faster crossing of traffic lights. Thus, Bacau aims to develop urban mobility by implementing solutions that facilitate public transport and encourages people to use alternative means of transport by increasing its attractiveness and utility, increasing traffic fluidity on the main arteries of the city, reducing environmental pollution, as well as noise pollution throughout the city. The project meets the specific objective 4.1 of the investment priority 4e of ROP 2014-2020, through the implementation of strategic measures based on the data from the Bacau Sustainable Urban Moiblity Plan, which will lead to the promotion of sustainable multimodal urban mobility and the reduction of CO2 emissions, as a result of improving the transfer to public transport and non-motorised modes of transport to the detriment of transport by private cars. a traffic control subsystem; a video traffic monitoring subsystem; a fibre optic communications subsystem; a radio communication subsystem; a command and control centre subsystem; a road signalling subsystem (horizontal and vertical markings) a subsystem prioritising public transport vehicles at traffic lights.
