A instalação da rede de defesa da floresta contra incêndios consubstancia a redução dos incêndios florestais, visando a diminuição da carga de combustível, num território onde os grandes incêndios são uma constante. A realização desta rede complementar à RP é fundamental, de forma a diminuir o potencial dos incêndios, evitando a eventual progressão dos incêndios florestais e consequentemente diminuir a área ardida. The installation of the forest defense network against fires substantiates the reduction of forest fires, aiming at reducing the fuel load, in a territory where the big fires are a constant. The realisation of this network complementary to PR is essential, in order to reduce the potential of the fires, avoiding the eventual progression of forest fires and consequently reducing the burning area.
