Obiectivul general al proiectului este modernizarea, extinderea si dotarea platformei multimodale Galati la o capacitate de manipulare de 150.000 TEU/an, si corespunde cu Actiunile finantabile conform POIM, OS 1.3 „Cresterea gradului de utilizare a cailor navigabile si aporturilor situate pe reteaua TEN-T centrala” si dezvoltarea suprastructurii portuare. Proiectul contribuie la indeplinirea indicatorului 2S3 privind marfurile transportate pe cai navigabile interioare. Obiectivul general va fi realizat prin urmatoarele obiective specifice: (Romanian)

The general objective of the project is to modernise, expand and equip the Galati multimodal platform to a handling capacity of 150,000 TEU/year, and corresponds to the financing actions according to LIOP, OS 1.3 “Enhancing the use of waterways and inputs located on the central TEN-T network” and the development of the port superstructure.
