O projeto pretende requalificar importantes monumentos em Moreira de Rei - Trancoso, uma zona com grande importância histórica e arquitetónica, sendo a Igreja Santa Marinha, Necrópole e Pelourinho classificados como Monumento Nacional. Dada a sua importância a nível local, cultural e turístico é necessária a requalificação no sentido de preservação do património histórico e fomentar o turismo, através da criação de um Centro Interpretativo.
