O projeto prevê a construção e apetrechamento de um albergue na aldeia do Rabaçal, Rota dos Caminhos de Santiago e Rota do Peregrino a Fátima, com o objetivo de atender a todos os peregrinos que façam este caminho e que procuram um lugar para se alimentar e pernoitar sem ter de despender de muito dinheiro, conviver com outros peregrinos e quem sabe conhecer companhia para o dia seguinte.
